Very colorful and appealing book. However, some of the removable Matryoshka dolls do not pop back into the book, since the openings are poorly constructed.

This book is really cute for preschool aged children. The dolls in the book do seem to pop out before you turn the page, but keeping the book in a bag will help keep it all together. Also bought little matroyoshka dolls for my granddaughters to play with.

My 4 year old loves this book. There is not much to the text but the pop out dolls are cute. They are a bit hard to get back in but she likes it anyway. My 6 year old could read the book to her so that is a plus.

A big hit with the 'littles.' Just right for chunky hands and eyes drawn to color. The doll inserts are fun to 'name' and play with on their own.

Suggest keeping in a paper bag so the insert pieces don't come loose and get lost.

This is a wonderful book for young children! I am an art teacher and use it for my Russia unit for my pre-k and kindergarten students. The illustrations are adorable and the pop out pieces delight the children.

We bought this book for my son and from day one he's liked it and enjoyed "popping" the little ladies out of the book. We first got it when he was 6 months old and he liked it but couldn't manipulate the pieces alone, but ove time he's gotten so much better and now he is a pro. We really feel that it helped his eye hand coordination and also taught him about size order - we say to him put the littlest baby in first and he does. He's 19 months old now and still pulls this book out as a favorite. It was a really great buy!
