I did not want to buy this toy for my daughter because I thought it would be like all of her stuffed animals they get shoved in a corner and never played with. An uncle bought this pony for her and she loves it. She plays with it nearly everyday. It is not a stuffed animal at all. It is an interactive toy. It wants to play, have you brush her hair, and feed her. Great toy!

This item is perfect for any little girl whos loves my little pony. It has a plactic head but a really soft body. Its the perfect size and sounds so cute. I bought my 5 year old one and she takes it every where I would gladly buy another one.

My granddaughter is 6 and absolutely loves this toy. It's a very pretty and sweet gift for a little girl. Though the body is somewhat hard she still comfortably holds it like a little baby. The movement and talk is realistic and quite cute.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter has been wanting this toy for the past 4 months. Every store we'd see it in she would grab it and beg to have it. I kept telling her "for your birthday". Well, we gave in early today and she got the pony. Oh my gosh, she LOVES this pony!! I did not know, but she had been carrying a little flyer from a plastic my little pony around with her and studying the flyer in her carseat with this pony on it! When I saw her looking at it as we were driving--that was it. She treats this pony like it's real, so cute. She tells me "don't wake her up, she's sleeping". The pony is much cuter than I expected. Very soft, and the sweetest voice. The pony asks for a kiss, asks to have her hair combed, and says other things too. This pony has definetly won my daughter's heart!!

Like so many of the other reviewers' experiences, my daughter saw the TV commercial and fell in love with the pony and so we bought it for her for Christmas. It worked wonderfully, said many phrases, and was so cute--for about 5 minutes. Then, it started making this horrible grinding noise--sounds like a lawn mower outside the door, very loud and annoying. It no longer moves correctly and now, three months later, only says one phrase, "Good Morning Mommy." My handy husband took the whole thing apart the other night and tried to fix it. Basically, the cheap-o plastic gears on the inside are shot and the electronic chips that control the voice had grease (!) on them, which is probably why it doesn't say all the phrases any more. Even though he spent literally hours tinkering with it, he couldn't get it to work.

It's really a shame that Hasbro has such a poor regard for their customers that they'll make such a shoddy product. I hope the product manager of the product is reading these posts! Please, for the sake of 3 year olds everywhere (and their parents)if you can't make a decent product, just quit trying. It really puts your whole company in a very bad light. I'll be very hesitant to buy this type of product from your company ever again.

Got the first one for my cousin Hanna for a birthday gift. After 2 months play the legs stopped working and grinding happened.

I went right to hasbro and gave them an email saying our goodmorning sunshine was broken. And they mailed us postage to return it without the box and accessories.

It took a couple months for them to mail us a new one. We even called Hasbro to ask and we got a nice lady to tell us what was going on. Something about new stock being made or something. And she would give Hanna a gift for waiting so long as she would always asked when we stopped to get the mail if her pony was back from the hospital.

So we got her and a playset. The new one still works, but its not played with as much as I think my cousin is afraid of breaking her.

So really, what's the point? To have a broken toy because it is loved or to have a kid soo afraid she's going to break it and it sitting on the shelf?

Reading many of the reviews, I was sort of happy to see that the problems we have encountered with this pony were shared by others!! It worked for about 2 months, then this loud, grinding sound started and the pony wouldn't do anything except say "Good morning Mommy!". We actually have to hit it hard to stop the grinding! Very poor quality! It is sad because my 4 year old daughter really loves her pony and wouldn't go anywhere without it!!!

I put this toy on my 2 1/2 year old daughters "wish list" for Christmas this year and her Grandma got it for her and it is by far her very favorite toy for Christmas 2005! It is so adorable, and really talks and make noises and is just a really fantastic toy! We LOVE the My Little Ponys and this one is just the best! Super toy! Don't miss out!

We bought this pony for my five-year-old two months ago. She played with it non-stop for about three hours, then put it in the box and hasn't thought of it since. The toy is very cute and she has an adorable voice, but she just doesn't DO enough to hold my daughter's attention. Her half-a-dozen phrases and a few head movements gets old quickly. The mechanics are also extremely noisy and sometimes she gets stuck in one position and we have to take the batteries out to reset her. I regret buying this toy, it wasn't worth the money.

This is my daughters review of Good Morning Sunshine after she bought it with her own money about 6 weeks ago...

Not a problem with my toy b/c once she was out of the box I got to see how she moved and the sounds she makes w/ bottle and pacifier. I like her a lot and have not had a problem ( I warned her of the reviews on amazon).

My daughter is very pleased with this and I almost wanted her to save her money after the reviews but very happy that I let her.
