Hi, I got this dance stuido quite a while ago... and it still works! I was surprised it worked! The little cakes are cute. Then the ponys can eat when they get hungry! I like how they have a little dressing room.My best friends little sister said it was a showerLOL! so now we all say it is. Well the ponys DO need to be cleen before they dance right? I was realy happy when I saw Twinkel twirl she has such pretty hair! She's a unique color. The back DOSE pop off but you just have to pop it back on! My sisters and me like to play with our other toys with this set not just the ponys. Well I better go so bye! Have fun with your ponys! P.S please vote on my review. My daughter also received it for her 4th b-day and LOVES playing with it. It does fall apart easily and the back wall of it (the part that is vertical when it is open for play) falls backwards with just the slightest bump which she finds frustrating becasue it messes up "her decorations" - how she set up the ball. The other thing she finds very frustrating is that only one of the three dance platforms spins - all three turn around the floor, but only one also spins. If you have a child who spends much of her imaginative play time setting up and arranging all the pieces perfectly, do not get this toy - it will frustrate her.

She does not play with it nearly as much as she plays with the castle. Although I am happy enough with it, it is not a must-have toy, in my opinion.

Based on the castle reviews, I am really glad my little girl got this instead of the class. It can fall appart pretty easy
, but the parts are easy to put back on. It folds up neatly and you can squueze about 5 more ponies in once it's closed. A few cute, but very small parts (glasses, cake). It's loud, the dance floor spins, and lights up, so my 3 year old loves it. It's cheaply made, but she loves it. And, it's a great travel toy.

My daughter has the celebration castle,dance studio and amusement park.Of all of them the dance studio is the most compact.It folds into a carrying case that sort of resembles a hat box.This is the best one for travel,althogh the ponies will not fit in it folded up.Also it requires no assembly.You just take it out of the box,put in the batteries and go.If you are looking for a compact house I reccomend this one.

This awesome dance studio is definately five stars! (It's much better made than that castle, and is ten dollars less.) Getting it out of the package and ready to play, complete with the nessescary three triple A batteries, took us less than ten minutes.
The studio folds up into a case complete with a handle for traveling, and opens into a huge ball room with revolving dance floor. When you press a button, lights flash and one of three songs play. A pony can stand on each of the three colorful wheels, one of which spins on its own.
Ponies can practice in the rehearsal studio, which includes a barre, a vanity, and a screen for changing. The vanity drawers pop open and posters of the various inhabitants of Ponyville dancing plaster the walls.
On the opposite side of the studio, ponies can snack on one of five delicious treats, have some punch, or watch the performance from a balcony.
We appreciated the better quality and play value of this playset, and hope you will too!

My step-daughter loves this toy! I pre-ordered this item and recieved yesterday and she's been playing with it since, non-stop. It plays music, and seems pretty durable. We accidently pushed the window out but it popped right back in place. It's very cute and the she loves wacthing the MLP's dance around the turn tables on it. There's nothing educational about though, just fun for the girls. And it comes with 16 pony points, if your interested in that. I deffinetly recommend this for all MLP fans.

I decided on this for my daughters 4th bday after reading not so good things about the castle, which is what she really wanted. She fell in love the dance studio as soon as we opened it. It was very easy to assemble. She loves putting ponies on the turn tables and watching them "dance". Some pieces do pop off occasionally, but they just as easy to pop right back on. When she's done playing, all pieces, plus a few additional ponies fit right inside the dance studio which folds into a neat little case. A must have for any pony lover.

This is my 7-year-old's favorite toy now for awhile, she never gets bored with it, all her ponies can use it, it's awesome!

My daughter, Christina, is 4 years old. She HAD to have the Dance Studio and I gave in before Christmas and I'm so glad I did! She LOVES this item! There is so much to do and she lights up when she plays with it. It really gives us both such a good feeling. She loves My Little Pony-- and so did I!!! Now we can love it together! Thank you so much!

We bought this for my grandaughter after buying the clip-the-pony-on-the-ferris-wheel. This one operates much better. the ferris wheel toy falls apart and breaks all the time. Would NOT recommend that one, but this one my gradaughter is absolutely delighted with. Would recommend this toy.
