I was pleased with this steamer at first. It seemed to take the wrinkles out of my clothes fairly easily. However, after about 5 uses, one of the internal screws broke, resulting in a rattling sound. This wouldn't have been all that bad, except that with another two uses, all the screws that held the plastic casing in place had broken and the internal reservoir was moving around within the casing, making it impossible to fasten the top. The unit became hazardous to use as all the internal wiring and heating elements were exposed and I had to throw it away. Additionally, the steamer's heating element and interior produce quite a lot of calcification and looks pretty gross after a few uses.

Would NEVER recommend!

I got this steamer for Christmas. I was a little skeptical until I used it. I iron my clothes each week then shove them into a full closet. So, as you can guess, they get slightly wrinkled again. I did NOT look forward to having to drag out the ironing board each morning just to freshen my clothes. So I asked my husband to purchase this steamer. I LOVE IT! It's so easy and takes less than five minutes to steam both my pants and shirt/jacket for work in the morning. Sometimes I have even tried to use up the leftover steam by steam-cleaning my bathroom mirror and sink - works great! I highly recommend this item as it heats up fast, is easy to use and works so well. Great product!

i watched the infomercial and coul dhardly believe it. so i ordered it from amazon at a cheaper price and LOVE IT. it works so well and its so quick and easy!!!! i recommend this for anyone, its nothing like an iron it works so much betterrrr!!!

Great little steamer. Need to go over fabric a few times. Can use regular tap water and no special handling. Not for travel, however.

this steamer works great, but probably not as good as my previous conair steamer, that's why i only rate it 4 stars. BUT, i LOVE how this steamer is so portable AND it heats up and is ready in about 60 seconds. great when you're heading out the door and your planned outfit needs steaming!

Ordered one for a gift and deceided I needed one, too. This product is great for steaming blouses, pants, dresses, etc. I like the off/on switch and the way the cord stores. Steamer warms up within a couple of minutes. Uses tap water. Not too heavy to hold. Generates a good amount of steam. Pretty colors, too! Since it has the Good Housekeeping Seal, that usually indicates a quality product. The product arrived within a few days, was well-packaged and contained an appreciation gift from the seller. Both times I ordered from this seller and was very pleased.

I'm thinking of getting another one in case this one ever gives out. I love it!! I don't even own a steam iron anymore.
Once in awhile it sort of "takes a break" then comes on again momentarily, but if I put some vinegar water in it and heat it up then rinse real well and wipe out any "residues" that may have popped up - then it works great for a long long time. That's just normal maintenance in my opinion.
All of my clothes look great and don't show the wear and tear to them that irons cause because the fibers are never burned.
Better for my clothes, no ironing board, easy to use and oh yeah... FAST!!! There is no way you could iron as many clothes as I do in such a short period of time.
Just learn to be careful and soon you will be a pro. I could teach a class on the tips and tricks, but there is a lot of common sense to it.

If you want a steamer that drips water all over your garment, this one is for you! Rather surprised to have read so many positive reviews about this product on this site.

Bought this through HSN. It worked great for about two weeks. It quit steaming correctly after a few uses, it was exchanged (less than 1 month old). The 2nd steamer also did the same thing but I can not exchange because now I have had it more than a month. If you are going to buy this make sure it can be exchanged for more than a month.

It holds more water than most portable steamers and does a great job
She already reccomended it to her sisters.
