This collection of printed talks is a phenomenal guide to being the person you truly want to be! Using the Bhagavad Gita as her springboard, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda has inspired me to cultivate virtues and qualities that bring me peace of mind and a lot of joy. The book has opened me to a whole new vista of life. I'm now onto her next book, Enthusiasm.

I got this book more than 15 years ago and I can assure it has been the most important and more deeply moving reading experience I have ever had!

I read a great deal! I have read hundred of books, probably thousands! But...

If anyone asked me which book I have read the most times, I would say "My Lord loves a pure heart".

If anyone asked me which is the best book I have ever read, I would say "My Lord loves a pure heart".

If anyone asked me which book has given me the most incredible reading experience, I would say "My Lord loves a pure heart".

This book is for all those souls that feel lost, that feel they need something more, that there must be sth more meaningful in life. For those who wake up and feel an empthy heart, a boring life, a loneliness in this world.

Cynics wouldn't like it. If you don't believe in light, in love, and in tenderness... you wont want to read it -though you should because you are probably the one who needs it the most.

This book gives advice on how to find a meaningful and exctatic experience in life.

The advice in this book is in such quantity that you will actually have to read it over, and over, and over... which is what I have done through out the years. Every once in a while I feel like I want to read it again -and I do!

I have had to face very difficult situations in life. The wisdom in this book has always been there for me, giving me strength and courage. It is just invaluable!

Some people get lost in the powerful and wonderful figure of the author. I met her many many years ago for just a couple of times and I can attest she does shed light! BUT the most important aspect in this book is not her personality or the mystic atmosphere that surrounds her.

The most important aspect of this book is that it simply speaks the Truth! Not a philosophyical truth, but a spiritual one. This kind of truth is beyond personalities, or figures, or spiritual leaders, or particular religions.

It is the kind of wisdom that has power in itself and is beyond limits. Just to apply some of the gems in this book is enought to take you to another dimension.

Read it and change your life, by changing the way you look at life, and at yourself...how your own actions and thoughts are the creator of your destiny. An amazing book that is all at once light-hearted and ferocious. A MILLION STARS!
