This book was SO GOOD. I thought Monogamous Intentions, was my favorite book by Shannon Davis, now I don't know. I think My Love For Venom has won. I was up reading this book up into the wee hours of the morning. I literally couldn't put the book down. It wasn't an option, I had to turn the next page. This was definitely a page turner. This book gave you the same intensity of an action packed movie. It took you on a roller coaster ride, and didn't let you off until the last page. After reading all three of her books, I can say now I'm a fan. Can't wait until May 25, Second Chances, which is book number 2.

The title speaks for itself.This the second book I've read by Shannon Davis and I really enjoyed it.Prescious just graduated high school and is on her way to college and she meets Venom and from there,Venom takes her on a wild roller coaster ride that has her neglecting everything and everyone around her.It had me feeling like,When is Precious gonna wise up.It was a page turner.I can't wait for part 2.

Very good read, only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because I HOPE NOBODY IS THAT STUPID FOR LOVE. Precious Gordon meets and falls in love with Venom Whittaker who takes her on an emotional rollercoaster ride for real. With all the stupid decisions she make stealing that kind of money from her dad to bail Venom out of jail just took the cake, Daddy was just to through and so was I. Precious actions really made me want to wring her neck!!! But I must say my boy Venom came back in a big way. CANT WAIT FOR PT.2

In Shannon N. Davis' novel "My Love For Venom" she takes you on a wild ride of love and hurt. She let's you inside of the mind of 18 year old who beleives she's found love. You see how this young teenager takes her family on this same wild ride that she's on. Shannon uses real characters you can actually see and beleive. A great novel indeed on the pitfalls of falling for the wrong type of guy.

Despite the back cover in need of editing, I still purchased this book and I must say Ms Davis "did her thang". Unlike many other reviewers I don't like to give away the main plot in my review. What I will say is this book will keep you wanting more. What is disappointing is the ending but I guess she leaves her readers hanging...as I sure there will be a sequel. I did get a little fed up with how at times Precious did appear just plain stupid. Why would anyone put a man before their education? Overall this is a good, fast paced read. If you havn't read any of Ms Davis' other tittles you are truly missing out on a gifted writer. Kudos to you Ms Davis!

Precious Gordon was the apple of her parents eyes.She couldn't do wrong from where they sat from her straight A's to following all there rules. That was until graduation came along and she met a boy that changed her world and his name was Venom. She fell hard for him and became naive to all things but him. He was like a drug to her she couldn't get enough. Pretty soon the perfect world her family built begins to crumble and they begin to wonder if they can pull this hold he has on her off.
I followed this rollercoaster ride of Precious Gordon's life and in some ways saw a lot of myself and others I know. Its so relateable as far as everyone has been a fool in love sometime or another. I think the book was well written and the storyline was good enough to keep your attention from beginning to end! I suggest this read to anyone that is looking for a good read filled with drama and excitement!
