Brenda Holloway is a legendary Motown Diva sounding timeless & great..."Northern Soul" European success inspired this winning collection that must be a dance club sensation as songs flow with richly varied up-tempo arrangements that sparkle and perfectly frame Brenda's delicious & soulful vocals! Amazing in United States these classic great singers go to Europe to continue working and recording as they should be right here in the good old USA...Bravo Brenda, you sound awesome and this collection is magnificent!

Not her best, August 1, 2006

Brenda was Motown's best ever female singer. This lady could really sing, and cut some gems whilst she was there, but they wasted her.
This set isn't her best. She never was a disco singer, and to have recorded this rather boring set of samey sounding forgettable songs is questionable.
To hear this lady at her best, buy her Motown stuff and forget this trash.
She still has a wonderful voice, but she is best at ballads
