Like most parents with kids ages 3 and 6, I'm an expert on contemporary culture (music, TV, video) for younger kids. There's a lot of junk out there (a CD featuring the voice of Barbie?!?) But Pobba's catchy, upbeat songs are not trying to sell anything but imagination, exploration, and pure fun. Like Tom Paxton or Shel Silverstein, Pobba is a true original -- hard to find these days. We're looking forward to the next album!

Pobba's songs are well-written and colorful, but they'd frankly be better if sung by someone else. Pobba just doesn't seem to have the kid-friendly delivery that one finds with, for example, The Wiggles. I'd like to see Pobba hand his little gems over to someone else. Nothing personal, but I want what's best for my kids' ears.

My 3 girls (ages 2, 4, and 6) all went bonkers when they heard this cd...it is slowly replacing Raffi's Baby Beluga as their favorite...

My 'Magination by Pobba is a GREAT CD ! We have had it in our car all summer and the kids still LOVE IT ! I would have to say that the song Marshmallow is our all time favorite, but EVERY song turns into a sing-a-long with my group. Thank you Pobba for making such a catchy and fun CD for my children.

I have two boys (ages 4and 5) and they love this CD. The songs are silly and fun. Their favorite is the Marshmallow song because they think it is so funny to hear a song about marshmallows. It also helps with their counting. My five year old recently had a very traumatic day at school and when he came home he turned on the CD and listened to "The Worst Day of My Life" and it comforted him to know that everyone has bad days. I appreciate this CD because it is not the same old tired kids songs that you've heard a million times.

You know how the movies Bug's Life and Shrek are great because little kids love them and adults actually don't mind (in fact they like) watching them over and over and over and over? This CD is just like that! Let's face it -- when the kids in our lives fix on something they like, they will play it into the ground, and My 'Magination is a CD that is more than just tolerable -- it is fun, funny, and NOT ANNOYING (think big overstuffed purple dinosaur)! I bought this CD for my five-year old niece and she can't get enough of it. She listens to it so much that she has made up her own choreography that she has since in turn taught me. I have given copies as gifts to all my friends with kids. Pobba is the next Shel Silverstein (mixed with a little bit of Dr. Seuss) but with a MUCH better singing voice!

My kids (2 and 4) love this album -- and I like it too. It's upbeat, bouncy, fun. Pobba's lyrics cleverly see the world through the eyes of a child (probably ages 4-10 would appreciate them most). Not just any child, either but one who is happy, curious, adventurous, not afraid to try something new. (Of course "The Worst Day of My Life" has a happy ending.) The melodies are memorable and the arrangements are interesting, never boring.

We play a lot of children's music -- this is one of our favorites!

I've read that genius is the ability to be a child at will; the creator of these songs--who clearly has the imagination of a little squirt--is just such a genius. My five and seven year olds are jumping up and down on the couch screaming lyrics about marshmellows, monsters, and sea creatures. Very catchy, very innocent--in short, music that allows kids to be kids. We can't even take a roadtrip without it now. It beats anything I've heard for children, and my wife and have looked everywhere. Hats off to the artist.

My 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 yr old daughters just love their Pobba CD. They ask for it in the car and sing out loud. Our favorite songs are Imagination, Pb and J, the song with "NO Way" in it.
We recommend this for everyone!!! They music is upbeat, the lyrics fun and we all find ourselves singing along. Thanks Pobba!

Incredibly catchy tunes and clever lyrics. Our grandchildren ask to hear this CD constantly, and they know many of the songs by heart. This is a warm and wholesome and fun collection of songs from some amazingly creative guy.
