Though a little short, this book compiles some of the first year's stories, and adds some new ones. Because I've already read all of the My Milk Toof blog, I decided to read this book to my kid sister. She laughed and enjoyed it very much, and I knew right then and there it was a good addition to the library!

Because most of these comics are already familiar, Inhae changed some of the endings (ickle's milk teef growing, Lardee's introduction, etc.), and added a few new ones (ickle's introduction, indoor camping).
However, I felt that the layout of the book could use a bit of work, as I found the text sometimes too small to read. There would be one page with one gigantic picture and small text right underneath, and then another page with two smaller pictures and no text under either of them. Perhaps if the text was larger, or if the picture was smaller when there was text, that would've made it easier to follow. My sister didn't know how to read the book at first, until I pointed to the small text. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "I didn't see that!"

The back has a little more information on Inhae Lee, which I found to be most welcome; I've been wanting to know more about her for while! It's a nice, cushiony hardcover book, and a welcome volume to any milk teef fan.

I have been a fan of the Milk Teef photo blog since the beginning, checking it regularly for new updates, but I was even more excited to finally see the completed book, and actually hold it in my hands! It exceeded my expectations by far!! The imaginative, well thought-out story lines, the beautiful photographs, and the unique characters have me addicted!!! I even purchased several copies because I think it makes a great gift. I can't say enough good things about it!!!

This is an incredibly sweet, charming, cute, whimsical, and thoroughly amusing book! The imagery is fantastic and very well-done, I found myself pausing at each page/photo for a good amount of time, there's a lot of great detail and so much charm! The book itself is very well-made, and the soft hardcover suits the book perfectly.

The mini-stories within the book are simple in format, but very endearing and well-paced. It contains some of my favorites from the Milk Toof blog with a few twists, and wonderful new stories as well (a must have for fans of the site!).
I really don't know what more I can say, for lack of better words, it just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Which is a good thing, as it is impossible not be in good spirits after reading or simply looking through the book. It'll definitely be a prized possession to any bookshelf and a cheerer-upper. It can definitely be enjoyed by children and adults alike, and would make an excellent and lovely gift (I know if I'm ever stuck on what to get for someone, this would be an sure choice, the receiver is sure to feel the love)!

Lastly, I can tell a vast amount of attention, love, and care went into creating the book. Be sure to check it out!

My seven year old daughter saw this in a bookstore which was closing, and within a minute of opening it and looking through it, asked me to buy it for her. The Amazon price is much better than what we paid for it as an impulse buy, but it was well worth it! We've spent the past couple of hours reading it together and then reading the blog. The book is not wordy, we just enjoyed taking our time looking at all the pictures. The two characters, ickle and Lardee, have sooo much personality. One does not even really need to read the text to understand the humor in the photos, but of course, the text enhances the cuteness. Their little escapades and adventures makes us laugh out loud and they seem so "real". Each of the storylines are well done, but my daughter's favorite one is where ickle is being a prankster and throwing balls into the toilet. I highly recommend you check out Inhae Lee's blog at mymilktoof.blogspot.com and you will want to purchase this book.

This book is absolutely adorable. Basically it's a printed version of the 'My Milk Toof' blog that Inhae Lee updates every once in a while, so you can pretty much just read that if you don't have any money. However, I actually bought two copies myself (one for me and one for my girlfriend) because I loved it so much and wanted to support Miss Lee's work. It's perfect as a little kid's book or something to read to your kids before bedtime, but I end up showing it to just about anyone who comes over anyway because the stories are funny enough for adults as well.

So yeah, if you're not sure about this purchase check out Inhae Lee's 'My Milk Toof' blog. I'm pretty sure there are one or two stories in the book that aren't in the blog, but there are many more stories on the blog than there are in the book.

My Milk Toof by Inhae Lee is a delightfully written, beautifully photographed series of short stories about two tiny "milk teeth" (those precious first teeth we all had as children, and lost) who have adventures and mishaps in their everyday lives. The art created as props for the Milk Toof series of stories, by Inhae Lee, is just so charming and the text for ickle and Lardee (the My Milk Toof characters) is sure to make readers grin! Highly recommended! If you need more My Milk Toof in your life Inhae Lee has a fun website that chronicles the history of her creating My Milk Toof and she also offers prints of many of My Milk Toof pages for sale.
