A Sweet Story of Love for an Adopetd Child,
This review is from: My Mother Doesn't Look Like Me (Hardcover)
This is a beautifully written and illustrated story about a little girl who finds out that she was adopted, only after a cruel little boy questions her genetic connection to her Mother. is it possible that this little boy is correct? If so, does it mean that her mother is just some stranger, or could it be that even though she didn't give birth to her, this is still her Mother?Although it is about an adopted Mother's love for her daughter, it transcends that relationship to include children of all races and situations. Buy this book!

This review is from: My Mother Doesn't Look Like Me (Hardcover)
This is a very well-written book. It is thoughtful and beautifully illustrated. We use this book in multiple locations in my school: Classrooms, library, social worker's office, counselor's office. Almost every classroom has children of mixed raced families. This instills the beauty of adoptions regardless of ethnicity. After all, love is love..............
