A proud great grandaughter learns her history,
By Rebecca (Minnesota) - See all my reviews
This review is from: My Mother, Helena (Paperback)
"My Mother Helena" is absolutley excelllent. The thing that makes this book what it is, is that it's true. Helena was an extraordinary woman made of faith, courage, and determination. Helena has set an example and pathway for all to follow. She survived through a war and a difficult journey to America from Poland. Throughout her trials, she never stopped showing love to the people around her. I am more than pleased that this book is published and that many can share in it's joy with me. I am grateful for Leona Budiolovsky who has taken her time and talents to write down her thoughts, feelings, and create such a work. I would like to share why this book is extra special to me. I am Helena's great grandaughter and I am grateful for her example in my life. When trials arise I can remember that my great grandmother faced amazing struggles and still pushed along. This book has also been a valuable book to seek out significant names, dates, and places for my personal genealogy study. Thank you Great grandma Helena and thank you Grandma Leona!
