I am a Jordanian and I have lived here all my life. Even though honor killings is a part of a certain class here, this book just made it so unreal... I just can't imagine any woman running away from her family , building a new life for herself, wanting to go back... and i have never heard of a family on the hunt to kill their daughter but at the same time taking the baby and looking after it ..

The truth is, honor killings happen all over the middle east and africa ..people like rana hussaini are working hard to try and get stricter sentences for those who murder..
