Totoro at his best,

I have other Totoro albums, I love the character, but this CD is the one that is the actual music from the film. It is just great. The Japanese melodies are more apparent than in the film. It is sort of a jazz album with a Japanese twist. I recommend it, and it is definitely worth the price,

AS the previous reviewer said, it is definitely worth the price! Hauntingly beautiful and peaceful music. My two year old son loves the movie, and even more so the music. We listen to it as we play, and he will tell me which song goes with which scene of the movie ("this is when Mae takes a nap on Totoro!"; "this is when Mae finds the acorn!"). If you love the movie, this is the soundtrack to buy!

This CD is perfect. Every song from the movie, in order, is featured on this CD. They're all in Japanese, of course, and the CD is a great way to take the story with you anywhere without having to be in front of a television.

If you love the films of Hayao Miyazaki and the film scores of Joe Hisaishi then this soundtrack will not disapoint. Be warned that all of the singing in the songs on this CD are in the original Japanese but you know the words so just sing along over the Japanese audio and have a good time!

This is an amazing soundtrack of the original movie which was in japanese. Its a charming movie with a amazing language, scenery, and characters. I would recommend this CD and movie to anyone who loves a realistic movie that also has some things that you never know about. I also skate and might use this music. Thank you for this amazing soundtrack! It is a bit pricey though but definitely worth it!

What a disappointment. Amazon lists the titles in english, so I was all excited, but the entire cd is injapanese. :( Guess it's garbage now, as my kids love sing the songs in english. You live you learn.
