Book Description

Leah Meagher needed to start a new life and she knew exactly where she wanted to do that. She needed to leave behind all the things that hadn't worked in the past. She met her new neighbour Dana Cahill and it seemed like that was now a possibility.

2.0 out of 5 stars Really needs editing May 6, 2013
By SuperT
Format:Kindle Edition
I tried to finish this story but was unable to get past the many grammatical and punctuation errors. Am giving 2 stars because it seems unfair to give 1 when I didn't actually finish. An editor would be a good investment.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not quite as good as my rating suggests. May 9, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I got this ebook when it was free. Had I paid for it, I would have probably have rated it two stars instead of three. The story itself wasn't too bad but as others haven noted, the editing was absolutely awful. It was hard most of the time to tell who was talking because conversations ran together without breaks between them and paragraphs ran on for too long. The author also included quite a bit of detail about the main character renovating a loft in her cottage, presumably to pad out the length of the book. The main story itself, without all the extra fluff detail was all right but nothing I haven't read before and done better. Also, having read the book, the title is a bit misleading towards what you are expecting the book to be about. All said, if you can get it for free as I had, I'd say give it a try (preferably after someone has bothered to try to give it at least a cursory editing). Otherwise, pass on this and try something else. There are better female/female relationship novels out there.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book April 26, 2014

I really enjoyed the story. Yes there were some grammar errors but not as many as some people said. The authors page did explain some of it. Great read and great story.

3.0 out of 5 stars The girls in the hood. July 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I enjoyed the storyline. Everybody has issues. No relationship is without some amount of disagreement. I would recommend the book to my friends.
