4.0 out of 5 stars Proof: Magic can make a good album without No Limit
I'm a big Fan of NO LIMIT but and wasn't sure if dude could make it on his own: a good album that is... BUT i was proven wrong there are about 10 bangers and 1 okay and 1 wack so it's all good... too many skits though 8 or sumthing...

and the last track isn't even with Magic it's this r&b singer called Detroit and it doens't fit the album couse album is...

3.0 out of 5 stars Solid solo effort
This album is a good listen for you hardcore rap fans despite the last song "All I Do". He shows some true heart on "I'm so tired." That song is an anthem for those struggling through life. "Tear it up" is a solid track that'll get you crunk. The rest of the songs are solid. Good album Magic.

3.0 out of 5 stars Should Have Stayed With No Limit, May 28, 2009

It Was Ok. I Wouldn,t Reccomend it unles u r a big magic fan and have to have it,like i am a big magic fan,but was a dissapointment, with 21 songs including skits which was 2 many of them,it only clocked in at about 54 mins. it made me wonder at times when he was with no limit did magic write his material or did c and the no limit family write it? it does have a few good bangers on it though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Come Home To Tha Tank Magic, October 12, 2003

Magics new album is alright...Tear It Up..sickest song by far, he needs to get back with No Limit where his career started. P and Magic had there differences towards the end...but C Murder is responsible for signing him to Tru Records, so he owes it to him,and plus with C locked up, the label isnt doing to good. MAGIC NEEDS NO LIMIT JUST AS MUCH AS NO LIMIT NEEDS MAGIC. GO BACK!

For anyone who knows their No Limit history, Magic was the first (and only) person signed to TRU Records in division with No Limit/Priority. I guess when C-Murder (TRU Records CEO) went to prison for Murder 1 (see the irony?) The label folded. That leaves Magic with No Limit. Now he's on an Independant no named label. This is by far the worst Magic album. In fact Magic has gotten worse with each album he releases! The only bright spot on this album is "Wylin". Please steer clear of this hazard!
