This is the kind of book our family could have used when my 6 year old grandson Malcolm was diagnosed with diabetes three and a half years ago. I wrote it specifically for children, but its simple structure makes it an excellent starting point for adults too.

About the Author

Since her grandson was diagnosed Sandra has devoted her energies to raising funds, increasing awareness and creating educational materials about Type 1 diabetes.

She is the political advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Vancouver Chapter.

This lovingly crafted children's book will be useful for both children and families living with diabetes. Accesible to children, yet sophisticated and thorough enough for parents to rely upon.
