On My Own: The Ultimate How-To Guide For Young Adults by Sally Taylor is a superbly presented book and interactive CD-ROM set, deliberately written in easy-to-read question and answer format. On My Own provides in-depth coverage of the practical, real-life skills young people need to learn to make it on their own. Covering the effective management of one's time, to paying bills, pursuing a career, responsible sexuality, taking care of one's health and one's pets, and so much more, On My Own is an excellent, thorough, "user friendly" guidebook and highly recommended for older teens and young adults contemplating living on their own.

On My Own: The Ultimate How-To Guide For Young Adults by Sally Taylor is such a comprehensive youth reference on "how to make it in the world." I wish such a book had existed when I launched out on my own. With the challenges facing today's young adults, the book and CD reference can make a real difference in the lives of its readers. Parents would do well by leaving this one on the coffee table!

A complete guide that is amazingly insightful and easy to use. The CD ROM makes this guide an informative and entertaining tool for all learning types. When I first sat down at my computer to review the book, 4 hours magically disappeared as I found myself carried away by Sally's version of the Information Highway. A must read for all young adults--and many of their parents, too!
