"Best camera I've been able to find for this price range. I am loving it. The kit lens has a non-rotating front element, is high quality, and lightweight. The built-in flash performs surprisingly well. I went Pentax because this is the most impressive entry-level dslr and amazing old Pentax manual lenses can be had for affordable prices."
"Compact and lightweight, non-rotating front element, high quality. I went with this lens over the similar Sigma and Tamron lenses because of the small details in quality and features. Also, the filter diameter is 52mm, just like the K-x's kit lens, so i can easily use the same filters."
"A great, sharp lens. A step above the 50-20mm both in image quality and focal length. A sturdy feel and weight, somewhat larger and heavier than the 50-200mm."
"Amazing macro converter. This thing performs like a macro lens. I'm so glad I found about about this thing since I can't afford a macro lens, and this easily clips onto all of my lenses. It comes in two different strengths. The narrow depth of field when your are as close as possible with this is incredible. It's like 2 mm."
"Quality bag. Fits 17" MBP, holds tripod, camera body, 4-5 lenses, and plenty of extra space for accessories while still keeping a slim profile. I don't find the shoulder straps to be very comfortable, so I put some dark-gray sheepskin seatbelt covers on them. Please see my detailed review on the product page."
"Great little compartments on this bag. A bit small for its price, but the quality of construction is there. Tamrac could use a lesson from the military's MOLLE system for adding pouches. Tamrac's system isn't very secure."
"If you're looking for a great all-around tripod that is affordable, look no further. This thing is well-built and has many features. Can't be beaten at this price."
"Such solid construction. Aluminum and glass feel great in a laptop. If I could afford a second laptop, I'd get a 13" MacBook Pro to travel with and only keep this one at home, but this screen size is quite nice for those who don't want to be tied down to an external display. Go for the 7200 RPM HDD if you aren't getting a SSD."
"Aperture and iPhoto are rendering Pentax RAW files with a green white balance, but it's easily fixed until Apple fixes this. Aperture is lovely to work with."
