This review is from: My People (Audio CD)
On[...] it says that "the stage show presented in Chicago as part of the Century of Negro Progress Exposition in 1963." So, I find it hard to believe that it was released in 1960 :) I like this album, but in full disclosure, the "Irving Bunton Singers" which sing on the album was my put together by my father. He got to meet Ellington, but I did not. I may be biased for this album, but how can you go wrong with Ellington? Two thumbs up.
