We just got our pillow pet today and my daughter loves it. It measures to be the size stated on amazon. True, it is not a full sized pillow. There are 2 diffrent sizes of pillow pets. the 18" pet and a smaller 11" pet. The fabric is soft and seems like it will hold up well in washings.

The negative review that has been posted stated that the velcro closure does not work. However, they must have posted the review before investigating the toy. Because there is a soft flap of fabric that can be folded over and stick to the velcro so that when the pillow is open the velcro does not stick to everything it touches.(What a great idea!) So if you are going to velcro it closed you must move the flap of fabric out of the way and then it velcros closed just fine.

Seriosly, if anybody doesn't like this then they must not be pet lover. in my opinion they are such lovable pillow pets. My sister got it on her birthday and she won't stop playing with it. right now as i write this she is putting it in a pram! I reccomend this alot and rate it 5 star! i hope you enjoy it as much as my sister does!!

Alex, soon to be five)wanted a My Pillow Pet cat. Knowing from previous experience as grandmother of four, that chasing from store to store at 69 is not the most fun, the best way to go is Amazon.com. It came very promptly and he was a VERY HAPPY KID on his birthday. Oh, and by the way, the cost was lower than any store I know of.
