We just got our pillow pet today and my daughter loves it. It measures to be the size stated on amazon. True, it is not a full sized pillow. There are 2 diffrent sizes of pillow pets. the 18" pet and a smaller 11" pet. The fabric is soft and seems like it will hold up well in washings.

The negative review that has been posted stated that the velcro closure does not work. However, they must have posted the review before investigating the toy. Because there is a soft flap of fabric that can be folded over and stick to the velcro so that when the pillow is open the velcro does not stick to everything it touches.(What a great idea!) So if you are going to velcro it closed you must move the flap of fabric out of the way and then it velcros closed just fine.

Seriosly, if anybody doesn't like this then they must not be pet lover. in my opinion they are such lovable pillow pets. My sister got it on her birthday and she won't stop playing with it. right now as i write this she is putting it in a pram! I reccomend this alot and rate it 5 star! i hope you enjoy it as much as my sister does!!

Knowing from previous experience as grandmother of four, that chasing from store to store at 69 is not the most fun, the best way to go is Amazon.com. It came very promptly and he was a VERY HAPPY KID on his birthday. Oh, and by the way, the cost was lower than any store I know of.

We had purchased a small pillow pet a few weeks earlier, and it was so comfortable to sleep on we decided to get larger ones and try them out. I ordered the cat online because I couldn't find it in a store. My husband has the panda, and we use them as a pillow every night, and also as a pillow in its "pet" form when we go camping. It has already been washed once and is still in perfect shape. Although I don't use it as a toy, it is one of the best pillows I have ever had!

My Ms. Kitty pillow pet arrived quickly and in great condition! It is so cute, I almost didn't want to give it to my little sister!

I love my pillow pet because it is soft and fluffy. It is very cute and appropriate for all ages.

This thing is so soft (like cat fur) I know it will be my niece's new favorite thing. For the reviewer who said it couldn't be closed back into a toy once you open it into a pillow, I had the same concern at first. The reason for the misunderstanding is that once you open the item into a pillow a small flap covers the looped part of the velco. You know that part that if left uncovered would snag on EVERYTHING. Once I realized that, it was just a matter of folding back that flap revealing the looped part of the velco again and attaching it to the other part of the velco so they stuck to one another. The toy stood up like a cat again. And, actually, that flap is ingenious. Otherwise, the velco loops would be snagging clothes and anything that came into contact with it. I am so looking forward to giving this as a gift!

I purchased the cat pillow pet for an elderly friend who loves cats and is in a nursing home. My friend absolutely loves this pillow! It really cheered him up. The nurses can also use it to help prop him up. Well made, cute, sweet and useful!

I kinda do not like it very much, but it is a gift I prepared to my friend. She said she liked it very much since it is very puffy. It should be true that she like the pillow cat very much, but I am not very sure though. She may say she like it out of politeness.

I got this Pillow Pet Cat as a gift for my niece and she loved it. I've never seen someone as happy as she was after opening a gift I gave them. That being said, she did say that this was basically the main gift she wanted. But still - she loved it!
