4.0 out of 5 stars That's better
The version of My Plague on this single is remixed. How is it different? Well, as with most Slipknot remixes, it's more of a reperformance. The song has been polished up a bit, and yes the song is shorter, but also tighter, which is good cuz it keeps u on ur toes and ensures that u won't get bored with it. If I had to make one complaint it would be that the reverb...

3.0 out of 5 stars Bad choice for single but cool live tracks.
"My Plague" was one of the weakest tracks on Iowa already, but this remix is just plain horrible. The only good thing about the original was the singing in the chorus. Well for the remix, they edited the song and made it shorter. the only good thing is they changed some of the screaming to singing. The live tracks are some of the best live Slipknot tracks I have ever...

If I had to make one complaint it would be that the reverb effect in the chorus vocals from the Iowa version is gone, but it's not a big deal. I would recommend getting the Resident Evil soundtrack instead of the single, since u'll get more bang for ur buck.

Well for the remix, they edited the song and made it shorter. the only good thing is they changed some of the screaming to singing. The live tracks are some of the best live Slipknot tracks I have ever heard though. The video is also kind of cool. It's from the Resident Evil soundtrack so ther's lots of creepy zombies. Decent for a single. The wait and bleed single is their best single though. Download this. You can watch the video on the Disasterpieces DVD.

2.0 out of 5 stars Get "Iowa" Instead., August 28, 2002
For the Resident Evil remix of "My Plague", they basically cut out all the curses, changed the screaming into singing, and shortened down the song by about a minute. Sound bad? It is. The music is just the same as the original, and the things listed above are the only changes. I give it 2 stars for the live tracks (which I do not have, I don't even have this album. I have the remix burned), which must be good, because Slipknot's always good live, or so I heard. But, if you want "My Plague", get "Iowa" and get the original, but if you insist in getting the "remix" (or just "MTV approiate version", as I like to call it), get this. But "Iowa"'s better...
