My Pregnancy A Record Book - 1998 publication.

I looked around for the perfect pregnancy record book for quite awhile. Many of the ones I looked at were filled with information, but lacked the space required for personal reflections. Others just werent too fun to look at or fill in, and all seemed to be lacking that special "something". When I read the reviews for this one I thought I would take a chance and purchase it. I wasnt disappointed! This record book is colourful and fun from start to finish. I was also quite surprised to learn that a good friend had the same book, I just hadnt seen it at her home! She didnt read through the whole book before filling it in, and realized too late that there was a section near the end to fill in your month by month feelings, emotions, and track your weight gain (for those who look at scales to start with!) There is a part with old wives tales, advice recieved from family and friends, a section for doctor visits questions and answers, and even a part for daddy-to-be to record his feelings and ideas on parenting. You can even record everyone's guesses on baby's sex! All in all I highly recommend this book for those who have a fun loving, yet reflective side!

This pregnancy book looks cute, but there are many things that I don't like about it. The pages are made of material that are slippery...therefore, when you write with an ink pen, it smears and smudges easily. Also, there are plenty of pages for photographs, but the way the book is set up is that the photographs touch each other and stick together when trying to open the book up. Some of my photos were ruined. This pregnancy book also did not help you figure out what pictures to put where...It just left a lot of pages for you to put random pictures...there is no orgnaization as far as helping you put together the photos. There is a "reflection" of how you feel at 3 months and 6 months pregnant, but no refection pages for any of the other months! The worst part of the book is that there is hardly any room to write anything. For example, it asked you to share the story behind baby's name, but only gives a couple of lines. That is how it is on almost every page...very pretty pages, but no room to really share your thoughts.

I bought this book for myself when I found out I was pregnant, and just loved to fill in the pages..each new experience and developement was excitedly documented. I found it became a most personal thing that I am anxious to share with my daughter when she is older. I have since purchased this book for several friends who are pregnant, and can only hope they enjoy it as much as I did.

What a fun way to keep track of your pregnancy! Unlike most pregnancy journals, this book offers structured page layouts and ample space for photographs. I can't think of anything that this book leaves out. It has a page for everything that you might want to record. From your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant, to Dr. info, to foods you craved, to baby showers and nursery layout, to the birth day, this book covers it all. I strongly recommend buying this book if you are expecting, or giving it as a gift to a pregnant friend. I know that this is going to be a keepsake of my pregnancy that I will treasure forever.

This book is simply wonderful to look at. The book made me ooh and ahh at every page turn. I am really looking forward to journaling in this book. It reminded me of my high school keepsake book. It has spaces for photos, feelings, even the ultrasound picture.

I bought this book after having the Wedding book from the same series given to us when we got married. I recommend all the record books by Havoc publishing - they are all wonderful. This pregnancy record book was very easy to fill in and fun to do. It has lots of placed to record all the wonderful moments in your pregnancy and they are fun to look back on. I've already bought another for our next baby! My friends have really loved it too and bought it for themselves. Great keepsake! I haven't found anything else that is as thorough and easy to put together.

The most wonderful record book on pregnancy! Lots of space for pictures as mommy's tummy grows - and prompts for recording special moments along the way, like the 1st time baby moves and when you start to show.

I got this book for a good friend who is expecting. I wanted her to have something to record her feelings and experiences while she was pregnant. Baby books usually only cover what's happening after the baby's birth. My friend is experiencing such a large range of emotions, and she loves that she'll be able to share everything with her son later on in life. It is a beautiful book with every topic you can think of.

This was the second pregnancy journal I have had and while I really liked the first one, it was out of print when I became pregnant the second time, so I ordered this one. In a way, I liked it better because it was larger, there was room for more photos, and it has neat pictures inside.

This book is filled with lots of colorful pages to write down bits of advice from other moms, doctor visits, how you decorated the nursery, how you chose baby's name, a place for the first ultrasound picture, your feelings each month (a lot of people complained that there were only places for 3, 6, and 9 months, but if you look in the back, there is a month by month area). There is lots of room for photos, a place to put the birth announcement, baby shower invitation and photos from the shower, a place for newspaper clippings after baby's birth. There is an area that allows you to write down food cravings, foods you had to avoid (oy!), favorite clothes, gifts received at the baby shower. I could go on and on. It is jam-packed with topics regarding your pregnancy. This is a really great journal and I am happy I ordered it.

This is a nice book but could use a lot more space to write! I have more to say than would fit in this book. I'm expecting #2 and will be searching for another journal. This one is just too limiting.
