New album from British glamster Steevi Jaimz. Steevi is probably known as one of the pioneers of Hair Metal in the UK being the original singer of "Tigertailz".

In this solo effort Jaimz has largely benefited from the talents of upcoming Swedish guitarist Chris Laney ("Randy Piper's Animal", solo) who produces, lays the guitar parts and co writes the songs on "My Private Hell".

For those familiar with Chris Laney's previous works it should come as no surprise that this album came out heavier sounding than the latest works of "Tigertailz" as the guitarist seems persistent in combining his fat guitar riffs and dark bass lines with the Steevi's super catchy choruses. Having said that, "My private Hell" is above all a good time-party metal album demonstrating star quality you would expect from a Paul Stanley/Kiss album combined with Ozzy-style rock'n roll madness.

Indeed "Something good Something bad" is a very mature and dramatic tune in the "Kiss" vein; "Still Crazy", as the title alone suggest, brings Jaimz into the Ozzy philosophy. The opening track "Amazing" is possibly the most optimistic glam song you will probably hear this summer with tons of poser quality; while the title track has the "RP Animal" trademark in Laney's riffs.

After having lost the case of ownership of the "Tigertailz" trademark in court, it was almost impossible for anyone to predict Steevi's next move. But coming out with such a heavy, catchy but most importantly focused effort in "My Private Hell" is an unexpected pleasantry to say the least.
