I saw this product advertised in a parents magazine and thought it was such a cute idea. My son loves dogs and we love books by Sandra Boynton, so it seemed like a match made in heaven. The book is VERY simple, but it is soft, cute, and fun. There is a button you can press to make the dog bark (which really intrigues my son) and then a big pink tongue for slurping and slopping. It is cute. Not a big, long story...but cute.

Our one year old loves this book. He especially loves it when it comes to the part about licking your cute little nose (and we "lick" his nose with the terry tongue.) Lots of laughter when we play with this book.

I got the cow book as a shower gift and fell in love with it! I had to have this one! I'm glad they only make 3 animals, because I would probably end up spending too much money trying to collect all of them! Super cute and fun!

A fabulous buy- $4.00 including shipping and the baby loves it. Wish I had a stash at this price for future baby gifts!

I have three little ones and bought each of them a soft Boynton book for Christmas. This book is cute! It is very soft and furry. There is even a page where they push a button and the puppy barks. Another one of their favorite pages is the tongue that licks them. They love it. The text is not great, but it is cute. It's also nice because they can't rip it, which I have caught them doing before. Overall, a good choice for kids 3 and under.

My 3-month old LOVES this short and simple book. It's soft and furry, and the fact that it actually barks keeps my son very amused. I bought it for a gift, but ended up keeping it for my son!

Sandra Boynton's My Puppy Book is adorable! It is soft, makes a cute barking noise, and is great for babies and toddlers. My only complaint is that it only has a few pages, with a few words, so not much of a story...but it's for babies and toddlers. We love it!!!

Very cute book! It is perfect for my 5 month old to chew on and snuggle with while we're reading. It is very soft and comes with 1 sound (barking) which is fun. It's not very long but works for a young baby.

I got this for my little girl for her 2nd birthday as she loves "Woof Woofs" (puppies)!! This book is soft and she falls asleep on it a lot when we're traveling. I wish it made more than just the one sound but she loves it and that's the important thing! You won't be disappointed!

This book didn't work when I gave it for a Christmas gift. It doesn't bark like it is supposed to. The book itself is adorable.
