4.0 out of 5 stars Quilting Journal Review
I REALLY enjoyed this journal but I thought it had alot of wasted space used by Lynette for her quilt pictures. So when it says it has 141 pages it is kind of sneaky because you can only actually use approximately 130...which is still ok but i ended up tearing some of the pages out because I want this to be MY journal...and not Lynette's. Just a matter of opinion. I may...

3.0 out of 5 stars I had to make it mine...
I liked this quilting journal...okay...but it had too much information and wasted space on Lynette Jensen's quilting projects. I wanted it to be only about quilts I had made so I ended up tearing our a lot of pages of Lynette's stuff!
All in all, I am glad I bought it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best I Have Found, January 30, 2007
This review is from: My Quilting Journal: A Quilter's Memory Book for Thoughts and Photographs of Favorite Quilts (Spiral-bound)
I bought this for my sister-in-law who has just begun quilting. I had purchased for myself years ago and it is the best I have found for allowing you to not only keep a record of your quilt but it also has a place for pictures and fabric swatches as well as the story behind the quilt. It is a wonderful way to maintain the history of your quilt making experiences. I am constantly on the lookout for a better book and in 10 years, have yet to find one.

I've been looking for a quilt journal, and this one is perfect for my use. It's well organized and will be a great place to store pictures and stories about my quilts.

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE PUT THE SIZE OF THIS JOURNAL ON THE TITLE PAGE. SOME JOURNALS ARE TOO SMALL FOR PICTURES, FABRIC SWATCHES, INFORMATION, ETC. THANKS.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just What I Wanted, March 2, 2009

This quilting journal turned out to be just what I wanted. I was able to put pictures of my quilts in addition to small fabric swatches on the picture page. The journal page allowed me to jot down the facts and memories about the quilt that I wanted to preserve. While there are a few pages from the author about her quilts and quilt patterns, they are unobtrusive.

I bought this for keeping info and pictures of all of the quilts I'd made since the 80's. I filled it soon and am planning on buying another one. I've had lots of great comments on the actual book, even without pics and info.

A gift for a fellow quilter. I have one just like it and have enjoyed the format for entering information and pictures slots for all the quilts I've made. She will enjoy it for sure.

This book provides an organized place for your fabric swatches and pictures of quilts. It also has space to write when you made it, who you made it for, and thoughts about it. I also write the pattern and fabric line, for reference. Many quilts are given away, so this is a good place to keep a history of your projects.
