This book basically contains numerous commonly used success tools that are organized in a step-by-step process to help you (1) find your goal, (2) plan on how to achieve your goal and (3) execute the actions necessary to acheive your goal. I went through the process and it has had a major impact on my career. Although I was talented and had a good work ethic, I was confused on how to direct my abilities. By going through the process, I was able to identify a career goal and develop a plan on how to acheive it. I then utilized the HR Department of my company to review my plan. This led to networking within my company. Several oportunities (projects) at my company were just waiting for someone to claim them. By having a plan, I've been able to reject the opportunties that are not consistent with my goals and claim the opportunities that will develop my career. My plan also gave me credibility when I requested the opportunities because my management was able to see that I did a careful analysis and was ready to take on the projects. The book can be used for any type of success such as family or volunteer work. I strongly recommend the book.
