oh for goodness sakes! i'm 26 and i really have no feeling one way or the other between my scene and bratz but i did enjoy this cartoon movie very much. the character design, colors and animation are very pretty to look at. the storyline is very current and realistic (as much as a cartoon about sneaking into a lindsay lohan movie as an extra and landing a role as a costar and getting to hang out with lindsay can be [...] and lindsay lohan actually did the voice which is pretty cool.
totally reccomended for young girls and people who like movies like clueless, mean girls, orange county or new york minute.

What Kind of Reviews Are These?,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: My Scene Goes Hollywood (DVD)
They speak nothing of the movie whatsoever. They only compare with other movies, or bicker between other products. Okay, here's my opinion on the movie. The animation is incredible, for a doll's movie. It wasn't made by disney, so it's not a majorly wonderful animated movie. But it did impress me. The storyline was pretty cool. Teenage girls play extras in a major Lindsay Lohan film. In my opinion, the characters were true to themselves; including Lindsay Lohan. So it's not CGI animation. How can you compare two different types of animation, and say that one is better than the other? You can't. And as far as the doll feud between customers, nobody needs to hear that. Why can't you just go review the dolls that you like. Now, back to the movie. One of the extras gets the chance to play a small part in the film, which is also one of the major roles. She befriends Lindsay Lohan and Ryan, the stars of the movie. Her friends suspect she was dumping them when she hangs out with the stars. I think that Madison, the one who befriends the two stars, didn't do anything wrong. Everyone just took small foward steps that led to the upbringing of the feud between friends. They didn't yell at eachother or anything. They just had an unfriendly discussion. But when the movie is moved back to Hollywood, Madisonbecomes sorry at how she treated her friends. Her friends became worried about her, and went to Madison's house. They had a heart felt discussion, and became friends again. The bonus material was fun for children. Over all, if you thout Bratz was innapropiate(vommiting, nose bleeds, smaller outfits), then this movie should be appropiate. The worst it has is mini-skirts and kissing a guy(which was only for a role in the movie).

This movie was fabulous!! My husband just brought home a screener that was sent to him, and my 10-year-old daughter and her friends LOVED it!!! I would definitely recommend this to any moms out there - it's very entertaining while still teaching girls strong morals (i.e. your friendships with your girlfriends are more important than boys!). The addition of characters like Lindsay Lohan - and even a cameo by Harvey Weinstein - were entertaining for me, too. I can't say enough good things about this movie - my daughter already loved My Scene, and this movie just made her love it even more.

My Scene Goes Hollywood,

My girls, who are 5 and 7 years old, love it. Be warned that the girls talk a lot about boys and having boyfriends but I had no problem with it.

~My Scene made a great movie. I really like the animation, and when i mean REALLY i mean REALLY. It's very detailed cartoon drawings, in my opinion. All i can say is, this movie is awsome. I don't like lindsay lohan, really, but this movie is pure AWSOME.....So get it, and get Bratz starin' and stylin'!!!!

END THE RETARDED DOLL WAR!!! NOW...,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: My Scene Goes Hollywood (DVD)
You know, Mattel made this movie for entertainment. All of you doll haters need to get a life, okay? My Scene Goes Hollywood was really enjoyable and I learnt some stuff about Lindsay Lohan. I would appreciate though if they didn't go on about boys so much. Kids should focus on school, not cute boys all the time. But, other than that, the movie was really enjoyable. Madison eventually goes back to normal, before, the fame was in her head. The boy (can't remember name) was just interested in himself as the My Scene Girls found out. It also taught me more on how they make movies!!! I would live in one of the trailers, actually! It was cool how the girls were picked as extras (won't go on anymore, hate to spoil the movie if you haven't seen it).
The Bratz movie was excellent as well. There is no need to hate dolls, I want positivity. If you wanna bash dolls well do it where I can't read or hear it!!! 5 Stars for both movies.
