this game is soooo cool. ir your having a boring day then just pull this game out and start shopping. here is the reason why i gave it 4 stars.
good things 1.you get a big map and allot of stores to choose from. 2.you get a magazine in every challeng to help you. 3.YOU SHOP DUUUUH 4.it is easy to install 5.you get to get a job and you acually get paid to buy everything on your list. 6.you can mix and match makeup, jewelery, and cloths 7.you get to choose a boyfriend to diss or kiss(only one is cute) 8.you get a n apartment with a radio. bad things 1.you cant pick any shoes 2.when you buy a gift you cant pick your own. 3.you dont have a time to make challenging 4.they walk so slow(who cares) 5.the jewerley is ugly (that matters) 6.you cant choose your own fashion and you cant pick were to go. main point you cant choose anything. but other than the bad its a pretty fun game. if you love shopping, and are a fan of my scene. get this game.

this game is fun the first time you play it. the second time you play it gets boring because you do the same thing. if you like this kind of thing buy the game, but don't get your hopes up too high.

My Scene computer game,

This review is from: My Scene (CD-ROM)
In this game you can be Barbie, Madison, or Chelsea. Chelsea was my favorite when I got the game and I wanted to be her but then I found out that you can't choose who you are and I had to be Barbie the first time, but after you are Barbie and you go to the event you get to be someone else.
You spend money to buy clothes, makeup, food, and presents. There is a list of what you need on your cell phone. If you don't have enough money you get to decorate store windows, design clothes, or make music. I liked designing stores and decorating windows, but the music thing was boring! And when you are Barbie you can only design clothes and make music and when you are Madison you can only decorate windows and make music. It is best to be Chelsea because she designs clothes and decorates windows and yolu do not have to make music. When you get the clothes you can't pick which ones you want and there is only one you can get. Usually you have to go to several stores to find it unless one of your friends calls and says there is a jacket in the village that you want or something like that. I don't think it's that bad having to look for the right clothes, but it is boring when you start over and have to buy the same things over again. The game was fun the first time I played it, but you only play 12 times and then the girls go on vacation without you! I think that was a really bad idea. They could have made it so you go with them and shop at new stores. It is sort of boring the second time because you do everything over. I never actually finished the whole thing twice. If you have an old computer it might not work right. I tried to play it on my old computer but they moved slow and everything was black and white and designing clothes was really boring that way. In the game Barbie looks sort of strange. Her butt looks big and she looks like she is bent over a little the whole time, and their necks are too long. I still think the game is fun, even though the second time you play it's not as fun. Also Nolee was not one of the girls you could be, and she was only at the events and calls a few times. She should have been in the game. If they make a My Scene 2, Nolee should be one of the ones you can be, and Delancey and Kenzie should be, too. (They are not in this game because they are too new.)

I actually got this game used, and it is my [...] favorite, by far. I cannot honestly say it is educational, but it does incorporate some basic math (earning money for tasks, knowing if you have enough left to spend, etc.) and a lot of critical thinking ( you must meet certain criteria when decorating the window and designing outfits). This game would be a great choice for a [...] who enjoys fashion, a My Scene fan or not. I actually enjoyed designing outfits and tooling around on the subway as much as my daughter did.

When I first got this, I litterly couldn't get to sleep until I played with the CD-rom the next day. It wasn't exactly how I pictured it, but it was still a great CD-rom in the end.
You play with different My Scene g irls at different times. And you can make the g irls "crush" on boys. There are three jobs you can do to earn money; fashion design, mix music, and choose clothes for a window display. There are so many things you can do during each "level". My favorite parts are when you get to pick the eye shadow and clothes. :)

I bought this game for my daughter's 7th birthday. She is a real 'My Scene' Fan. She loved it, the idea of making her own music, designing her own clothes, and dressing her own shop windows. She did get frustrated with the designs when she was told they were not right. It encouraged reading, which I liked, and problem solving. On the negative side, the girls who play the games are not 16-year-olds, like the girls featured in the game, and some of the commentary and attitudes, I felt were not appropriate for the young girls playing, as I had to remind my daughter on occasions.
