The goal of “My Scripture Journal” is to help you to grow deeper in your walk with Christ by reading the Bible and memorizing scripture. The scripture memorizing technique offered in “My Scripture Journal” has been shown to help others memorize scripture out of the Bible.

When we study the Bible we learn the tools needed in order to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. God doesn't promise a life free from trials. However He has given us the tools we need to fight our battles through His word, the Bible. When we memorize scripture we automatically have the tools on hand that we need to get us through whatever life throws our way.

“My Scripture Journal” is designed to help you memorize scripture while also learning more about God through His word. This plan for reading and memorizing scripture is designed for those of us who have either a short attention span, or busy lives, in order to help incorporate God into our everyday life!

This scripture journal is set up where you will study one snippet of scripture per week. There will be seven different activities you will complete in order to help you memorize the scripture and get into the word, one activity per day of the week. At the end of the beginning of the next week we will move onto another scripture.

Heather Bixler's four week Bible memory reading plan is a great little book. This book is perfect if you want to bring some structure to your daily devotional and a good system for memorizing scripture. Each day is laid out with instructions to help you meditate on and memorize the select verse. She also offers weekly encouragement as well as discussion questions that can be used either in a group or for your personal reflection.

This book will act as a companion to your Bible for four weeks and guide you toward encouragement from God's promises. I highly recommend it.

Most of us, Christians, wish we can read and know the Bible more. Regardless of our great desires to have more of the Word dwell in us, we still fail to keep our Bible reading plans. "My scripture Journal-God's Promises" shows you how to get more out of a Scripture by asking questions that will make you ponder the Scripture you are reading. It also provides guidelines on how you can memorise Scriptures and their references.

This book can be used as a Bible reading guide for the Children Ministry. Youth and teenagers can follow this guide to memorise Scriptures. As an adult, you can use it to make your own Scripture journal in a simple and non-time consuming way. It is also a suitable guide for family Bible studies.

I loved this little book and I recommend you to buy it, if you want to commit yourself to studying, memorising and meditating on the Word.

While this book is short, it still gives you a way to memorize scripture. Through a 7-day plan, the author takes you step-by-step each day on a journey to commit to memory that week's scripture. This method could be continued after the book's four-week plan ends. A great way to learn scripture! I plan to try it.
