If you've never heard of Mike Birbiglia, you are missing out on some of the best comedy ever! This CD is hilarious. I recommend buying this CD right away. It's definitely worth the money. Not only is he a comedy genius, he truly is a nice guy. I've met him at a few of his shows and he has always been friendly and approachable. (He's also skinny!) Honestly, if you have heard of him before, then you know that he is incredibly funny. If you haven't heard of him, buy this CD now... you won't regret it.

Mike Birbiglia is hilarious. I purchased his CD on day 1 and haven't been able to listen to anything else for the past 24 hours. There's an awesome "relate-ability" to the album...by far my favorite comedy album I've ever heard/owned!

Although one of my more recent finds in Stand-Up, Mike Birbiglia quickly gained a top spot in my favorites list with his first CD "Two-Drink Mike". His new CD doesn't disappoint with another dose of hilariously awkward anecdotes that resonate with the misfit in me and another not-so-subtle "political" analogy. "Deck accomplished!"

I can't wait for his next CD release.

This guy is probably one of the funniest stand-up comedians that I have ever heard, His CD is full of awkward stories frm his life, and that also makes him easy to relate to.

When I first looked at Mike, every ounce of my extra hip (jazz drummer) white-self wanted to hate him. I wanted to frame him as the neo-white Bill Cosby with Hokely-Dokely Flanders jokes to please the inbred elders of the country that I love. But, to my utter disappointment, I found myself laughing out loud sooner than later. He may not have the shock value of Bill Hicks, but he has the same wit and intelligence, with a softer delivery, which in my opinion, is much much more difficult to pull off. So, hats off,to him, if he comes to Santa Barbara, I'll take my wife to his show for sure.

Mike Girbigaboo is a true comic genius! And this album is proof-positive of that. He manages to be both skinny & hilarious and pudgy & akward, all at the same time! Is there no adjective combination that he CAN'T pull off???

The funniest comedy CD of his generation? Understatement, I say!

Take it from Joe Bags and Wiffle Ball Tony - buy this album.

This show was taped at the Funny Bone in Columbus, OH where I was lucky enough to be front row center (with my beautiful girlfriend) for the early Friday night show. Mike Birbiglia is one of the top young comics today and this cd shows him in top form. His self deprecating humor, pacing and delivery combine to make this a must have comedy cd. Mike, you truly are the Kenny G of comedy!

As with all good comics, Mike's material really strikes a cord with his audience. Mike has a great timing and does an increadible job of spining a hilarious tail. Well done!

I have been a fan of Mike Birbiglia for quite some time because he is constantly evolving his comedy. His story telling capability is top notch and that is exactly what you get with My Secret Public Journal. I purchased this album to listen to on a recent road trip and I nearly wrecked my car because he is so hilarious! Consider yourself warned and listen with caution.
