If you're looking for a dramatic tale about two scandalous females, then MY SECRETS YOUR LIES will definitely fit the bill.

This delicious novel, written by author N'Tyse, is off the chain. It begins with Sand, a hustla willing to do anything to keep her lady Rene satisfied. Both hitting the streets as teens, out in the cruel world, the two became inseparable. Sand was attracted to Rene's natural good looks and banging body, while Rene was drawn into the security her stud offered. With a little ingenuity, they manage to hold each other down for the long haul.

Everything changes one day for Rene, though. She feels stifled in her relationship and is tired of being treated differently for being gay. She begins seeing someone new (gasp, a man) behind Sand's back, spitting more lies than President Bush at a FEMA press conference. Yet, Rene is sure her life would be better with a man as her partner than a woman.

Predictably, Rene soon learns that the grass isn't greener on the other side. Despite her issues with being gay, she realizes where her heart truly is - with Sand - although it might be too little, too late. Too much has happened between them to go back: infidelity, kidnapping, a baby. Will there be enough love to bring them together?

N'Tyse kept me mesmerized with the love affair between Sand and Rene. My Secrets Your Lies, while it has some exaggerated drama, is true to the life of some black lesbians. Urban lesbian novels are on the rise in the literary world, and N'Tyse has created one of the better ones. It's a story I would recommend to both women in the life and straight folks who want to understand what the lifestyle is all about.

You will undoubtedly be schooled.

Sand is slick, charming and most of all irresistible. If there was a quick get rich scheme, then Sand was more than likely the culprit behind it. Constantly having something to prove, Sand passed all the tests. Kicked out for being different at the ripe age of 16, Sand fought hard to achieve not only a high school diploma but a college degree.

Rene is beautiful and sexy. She was a foster child placed in the system by a mother whose career was more important than her raising her child. Determined to be more than a paycheck to someone, Rene found a job, an apartment and Sand's relentless love.

Sand is busy fulfilling a dream to own a legit business. While preparing for the opening, Sand's time becomes shorter and leaves Rene with time of her own where she finds herself wondering if she's happy living a life with Sand or is someone else more suitable for that position.

My Secrets Your Lies reveals betrayal, greed, suspense and drama to Sand and Rene's relationship. Will this young couple be able to handle the demons stalking their happiness? While newcomer N'tyse does a great job with building her characters, I felt that the story got a little too jumbled when it came to revealing the conspiracy. While the twists are steadily rolling in, there are literally so many that readers will become overwhelmed trying to keep score with who is an alliance or an enemy.

My Secrets Your Lies by N'Tyse is a hellafied, fast-paced, action-packed drama that will knock you off your feet. Filled with colorful characters sporting shady pasts, and hidden agendas this book will keep you guessing who done it and why.

Sand and Rene are two African American lesbians whose families abandoned them and sent them out on the streets to fend for themselves. Trying to finish college, find an apartment, and stay safely off the streets has led these two into a relationship where nothing can come between them or can it? Sand is a bonafide lesbian who will have absolutely nothing to do with men, while it seems Rene plays follow the leader.
Rene has doubts about her sexuality and feels she would be disloyal to Sand if she told her how she was really feeling.

When Sand turns down the deal of a lifetime from Chyna, a well know pimp, all hell breaks loose and nothing is worse than a woman scorned. Chyna is not willing to take no for an answer and someone will pay for not joining her scandalous women team. Hold on to your seats because this book is filled with drugs, car chases, and living double lives. This well-written book will have you anticipating the ending and wishing it was not over. It was definitely full of twists-and-turns and a lot of suspense. I recommend this book to readers who love a good storyline and plot. I look forward to the sequel.

This was one of the hottest books read this year - so far. It is a story between a lesbian couple who is destiny to find happiness.

Sand (Cassandra) is born a female but has male instincts. She develops more feeling for women as she become older. Her family disowns her for her sexuality and she then begins to become an adult at an earlier age.

Rene has never know her parent or an family members and is born through foster homes. When Sand met Rene - it was destiny that brought them together. Sand was the male and Rene was the female in the relationship. They began their relationship as a couple for sometime living in Dallas, Texas.

Rene begans to develop diverse feelings about their relationship as time passes. Sand loves Rene with all her heart - at least, she thinks. Their relationship then begins to develope a new lane. Will both ladies take the same lane? Or different paths?

Sand and Rene minds begin to play tricks on them. Are they meant to be? Is this a mistake? Are they lesbians?

Sand and Rene are a lesbian couple that share damaging secrets that could destroy their relationship. Sand is the butch of the relationship who's cornrows, hazel eyes, and boyish mannerisms cause many a women to take notice, but allegedly Sand only has eyes for Rene's angelic face which she has tattooed on her arm. Sand is working hard to open a club, add to that the distraction of other women trying to get with her, one can understand why she isn't able to pay as much attention to Rene as Rene wants.

Rene is struggling to live with the stigma that comes with living an alternate lifestyle. Sexy as hell, the men that push up on her aren't trying to hear that she wants to be with another woman. Not even Rene's best friend Shun understands why she wants to be with Sand when there are so many men vying for her attention. Not to mention that Rene has never been with a man and Shun knows that Rene should test out the water and see what she's been missing.

Rene finally decides to give in to Shun's urgings and hooks up with Vincent but she's bitten off way more than she can chew. Rene is truly leading a double-life as she finds herself living with Sand while being engaged to Vincent. And of all the things that Sand can tolerate Rene creeping with a man is not one of them. But with Sand caught up in her own web of deception will she even manage to notice Rene's?

What did you like about the book?
There were lots of betrayals and lies plus major twists and turns that will throw the readers through loops.

What did you dislike about the book?
Some of the twists were a little over the top and with so many occurring readers may have to go back to reread certain parts.

What can the author do to improve the book?
A little more realism would help and of course all the loose ends have to be tied up nicely in the sequel.

This book is for the mature reader that is ready to read serious love-making scenes. Sand may have been born female but her mind, body and gestures scream male. Sand was disowned by her family and enjoys being mistaken for a man. Sand met Rene and fell head over heels in love, until making some quick money changes things.

Rene has lived her life on the run - running from one foster home to another trying to escape being violated. When she met Sand things were different, she felt loved and wanted. It would take years for Rene to realize that she needed more - she wanted passion, undivided attention, and most of all the perfect American family. Sand and Rene have too many secrets to stay on top of all the lies they have told. Which lies will come to haunt them?

N'Tyse blasts onto the scene with this unique story and may have started a new genre...alternative erotic - a mixture of lesbian love, sensual intimacy and romantic suspense. The plot is character driven and the action comes to life near the middle of the book. Reading from two different perspectives can make it difficult to keep up with the action. You may need to take notes of the lies as the stuff hits the fan. By the end of the book, you will be on the edge of your seat trying to figure out who can out lie who. There are several unanswered questions that hopefully will be answered in the sequel.

THIS BOOK WAS JUST AN "OK" READ. I FEEL THAT THE WRITER TRIED TO CREATE SO MUCH ACTION AND SUSPENSE THAT THEY LOST SIGHT OF WHAT WAS. I DONT FEEL THAT THE CHARACTERS WERE DEVELOPED ENOUGH. THIS BOOK WAS NOT WELL PACED,IN THE FIRST 4-5 PAGES OF THE STORY SAND STARTED OUT AT 8 YRS OLD, HAD BEEN HOMELESS, CONFESSED HER LOVE, WENT TO COLLEGE, GRADUATED, MOVED IN WIT HER GIRL (WHICH SHE SAID SHE WOULDNT DO), CHEATED,CAME ON SOME MONEY, IM NOT EVEN GONNA GO TO RENE'S CHARACTER. WHILE RENE CLAIMED THAT HER LOVE FOR SAND RAN DEEP.. HER ACTIONS, OR ANYTHING SHE SAID SUGGESTED THAT WAS TRUE. I UNDERSTAND THAT SHE WAS QUESTIONING HERSELF BUT I THINK IT WOULDVE BEEN EASIER TO UNDERSTAND HER THOUGHTS IF WE HAD A BETTER PICTURE OF HOW SHE TRULY FELT ABOUT HER LIFE AND SITUATIONS. IT WOULD BE EASIER TO UNDERSTAND HER ACTIONS. SOME OF THE CHARACTERS SUCH AS "CHYNA" SHOULD'VE BEEN BROUGHT OUT MORE SO U COULD REALLY UNDERSTAND HER POSITION. IT WAS JUST WAY TO MUCH OF "NOTHING" GOIN ON. ALL THAT SAID I COMMEND THE AUTHOR FOR THE REALLY NICE COVER AND THE IDEA AND I WOULD GET THE NEXT ONE BECAUSE THIS ONE DIDN'T ANSWER NOT ONE QUESTION FOR ME.

Determined to make it, she finishes high school and soon graduates from college. The only good thing in her life is her love for girlfriend Rene. Meanwhile, going from foster home to foster home, life had not been good to Rene either, a chance meeting leads Rene to Sand and their bond is set. Together through thick and thin, life finally seems to come together when Sand moves in with Rene or so, Sand believes. Rene is hiding a big secret, and living a double life--she's beginning to have second thoughts about her life with Sand and she may be forced to choose between Sand and her new fiance Vincent. Clueless to what's going on, Sand is caught up in her own thing. An unexpected attraction leads to an one-night stand and soon Sand is being stalked and if that wasn't enough to deal with, someone is out to get her. Someone who will resort to anything including murder to bring her down. My Secrets, Your Lies is an story that has something for everyone: drama, betrayal, mystery, and suspense. This book is so exciting, stepping on the scene with much force N'TYSE has put together a novel that reaches all colors and all readers. I am an avid reader who loves fast paced page turners filled with all emotions. This book gives insight to subjects unknown and untouched by many. It is put together and shaped to reach all book lovers and all book categories. Every emotion is touched. The story will leave you saying wow. A perfect gift and a perfect collectors item.

This novel involves a lesbian couple and the trials and tribulations they encounter to try to survive their relationship. Sand (Cassandra) is born a female but lives her life a male. She has had desire for women since childhood and has been disowned from her family because of her sexual desire. She is then forced to become an adult at an early age by surviving the streets of Dallas, Texas.

Rene is a young female that has grew up in foster homes all of her life. She never knew her parents and never really care. She put that life past her and met Sand. She'd never been in a relationship with a woman or man and trusted Sand with her life. Sand played her role as a man in the relationship - she cared for Rene financially, emotionally, and physically.

Sand begans to encounter other desires for women as she begans to better their lives. Rene begans to have second thoughts about being with women and exposes herself to something different. This novel has more twists and turns than a roller coaster ride. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
