Purchased this book to help a student with her fluency! We have had so much fun picking out poems to read and reread to each other. She especially likes the ones set to a tune, since she's very musical! It's a great collection, and I look forward to collecting an entire set!

Poetry books are always great to have. My 4th graders love reading poetry, especially funny poetry, and I love that they're reading. It helps students with their fluency by rereading the poems over and over and they're doing this on their own.

My third grade students love all of Bruce Lansky's poem books. The books are invaluable because not only do they expose the children to poetry, but the students find them so funny that they want to read them over and over. The humor is often cheesy and low-brow however the kids can relate to the topics.

My grandchildren love funny poems. They have poetry in school and I would go to school to read to the class. I always took in funny poems which captured all the children's attention. This book is a great poetry book for children to interest them in poetry
