I love this novel, it kept me awake. To be honest with you I didn't like to read novels, neither in English, but this one make me change my opinion because it kept me on the edge of my seat, it is very interesting and the vocabulary is very easy to understand (well, since English is not my native language) My children, who are very young also love the drama of this book and the happy ending. I read this novel in three-four days because I could not stop. I recommend this novel to everyone, including those people who just start learning to speak and read English.

This is my first novel by this author and I may give her books another try as long as the characters are not the same ones mentioned in this book. The first and main problem I had with this book was that there was too much going on. You had the female lead ( I can't even remember her name and I finished the book last night!) and her issues with her niece and her past family issues that still haunt her. Then you have Dean with his movie problems and his past family issues. I won't spoil the plot by tellling too much but I will say that two people with such is similiar dramatic past meeting is a little far fetched even for a romance novel.
There was also a lack of chemistry between the two. I didn't believe that theor chemistry was real. They kept saying how attracted they were to each other but I never felt it. Finally Deans family esp. his sisters were so annoying! Way too nosey! Family concern is one thing but the way they stuck their nose in Deans business was just too much. I didn't find one character interesting or compelling. Not even the little girl. Also I am sick of reading about a tall light aka cafe au lait skinned leading woman with long brown hair! UGH!! Finally I personally don't like the idea of a leading man to wear braids esp. with extensions! I don't recommed this book.

This book was captivating and engaging. I am a sucker for a happy ending and this book definitely gives you a"...and they all lived happily ever after" feeling.

I loved this novel. Not only does it provide that passion that comes with a romance novel but it also lets the reader know that there is nothing wrong with leaning on others. I love this series. I definitely can't wait until Rosa's story.
