All we have here is the bundling of My Three Sons: The First Season, Vol. 1 and My Three Sons - Season One, Vol. 2 at an even higher price than buying separate volumes! (Prices do fluctuate).

This is yet another American TV treasure that is being held hostage by CBS/Paramount. Now it appears that they are again stooping to another low by bastardizing the original music as with the initial release of The Fugitive - Season Two, Vol. 1! Check out the story on [...].

Query good people: Why can The Donna Reed Show: The Complete First Season be had in pristine order at a price of $34.99 and yet this mess offered from CBS/Paramount?

"My Three Sons" is classic TV at its finest. BUT, it is NOT an essential part of life to the point where CBS/Paramount is rewarded just because of our classic TV show desires. They don't deserve our hard earned money.

The early seasons of this show were so good that I would have paid Paramount's price. But Paramount has no respect for a quality show like this, maybe because it clearly contrasts the garbage they create for TV and movies today. So they dumb it down, destroy the excellent work of many talented people, they have replaced the high quality sophisticated music with idiotic sound effects performed on a digital synthesizer. Whole scenes have been removed. Avoid this counterfeit release. Paramount is the #1 enemy of classic TV.
A review on this page that says the music is intact is wrong. The music has been replaced. Verify it at tv shows on dvd or dvd talk or home theater forum. I do not know why the reviewer is trying to mislead Amazon customers.

After seeing the review for this product I have decided not to buy this. I only look for complete series TV shows. It is a shame that the studio jerks in hellewood don't have the common sense to give what the buying public wants. We don't need to be spoon feed only what they want to give us.
