5.0 out of 5 stars Loved This!!!!
Wow! This little movie had superb acting, and was just so REFRESHINGLY ORIGINAL! It was well written, and I can't imagine anyone with a modicum of intelligence not liking it. It WAS a rather far-fetched, (most movies are nowadays), but you just have to flow with it, take it like it is (a spoof on reality) and enjoy! It will NOT insult your intelligence like so many big...

1.0 out of 5 stars Comeau's character was annoying. .. made the movie difficult to watch!

This review is from: My Tiny Universe (DVD)
Dickie (Andy Comeau's character) is a down-and-out actor (Dickie's down-and-out-actor father committed suicide) who is about to commit suicide in the Hollywood Hills when he hears a ringing cell phone below. It's been lost by top producer Bobby (John Heard), who wants the cell phone back badly--it's loaded with contact numbers of the rich and powerful in the industry. After Dickie inists Bobby come to his place to retrieve the phone, (still) suicidal Dickie enjoys antagonizing Bobby--luring Bobby's wife (Lesley Ann Warren) and woman-on-the-side (Debi Mazar) into his sick thoughts as well. No offense to Mr. Comeau, but I cheered during a specific scene. . I wanted that character to just go away! Dickie is an annoying loser who just can't take NO for an answer. Comeau is kinda like a extremely poor-man's John Cusack. But Mr. Cusack selects quality roles so far. . thank goodness. Hated this movie with a passion.

1.0 out of 5 stars YAWN!!!, September 14, 2006

One of the worst movies I have watched in a long time. Ranks up there with "The Thin Red Line" but at least that had war. I fell asleep during half of it.
