Editorial Reviews

Review

Not only is Delphine's book gorgeously illustrated, inventive, and unique, it is surprisingly doable for a four-year-old with just a bit of help. The instructions are so helpful, and the addition of the heavy stock street makes this more than just toys to sit on a windowsill.

My daughter saw an ad for this on the back of a magazine she subscribes to and wanted it immediately. I was thrilled to be able to pick it up through Amazon for her (with her money.)

She is enjoying both putting together the buildings and playing with them. I did spend a little time doing the first couple of buildings with her to give her some tips, but after that she was off on her own. She was also excited that she could use the punched out pages to trace new buildings on other paper. I think she also shared a couple of the punched out pages with a friend so that she could make her own.

This is a delightful little paper village to make and populate with imaginary friends. Quite a fantasy, brought to miniature life.

My youngest children (7 year old boy and 5 year old girl) absolutely love putting this together and playing with it! It is holding up well (as long as we keep it away from the dog!). It keeps them occupied for a long time when they play with it. I would buy more titles like this! Need to keep my eye on this publisher and author!

I love when children use their imagination and this is a great way to. By building your " own" little town, you can even add stickers to the houses so the kids can personalize them, bring out small cars or even small dolls and have them walks around;)
