This review is from: My Twins are Coming Home (Paperback)
I bought this book so my daughter will prepare for the arrival of her twin sisters. The first book "I'm Having Twins" has helped her a lot to understand what is happening during pregnancy. This book focuses on the period from the birth of the twins until they arrive home. There are a few illustrations in the hospital that will help the child reading the story get familiarized with the scenario soon to be experienced. I was really disappointed that there is only two pages where the twins are illustrated, specially that none of them portray the mom with them. I guess the author is missing a book titled "My twins are home" so the child can prepare himself/herself of seeing her parents holding and caring for two babies.

My Twins Are Coming Home by Paris Morris,
This review is from: My Twins are Coming Home (Paperback)
This is the second book in the Paris series. Paris tells the story of when her mommy went to the hospital to give birth to her twin sisters. Paris gets to spend a lot of time at her grandparents house while her mommy is in the hospital and her daddy is with her mommy and the new babies. She tells of all the visitors who come to see the babies and leave presents for the babies and her.
The book is written so that preschoolers will understand it. Preschoolers will also enjoy the bright illustrations. |
