The immortal devotional classic in the original language. Conveniently located section for recording your thoughts and reactions to OC's insight in the margins. Larger than normal print makes reading easier. I leave it open on my desk to get me started each day. Nothing more needs to be said about My Utmost..., the unique thing about this version is the space given for keeping a journal. This is an excellent gift new, but also as a gift to a child or grandchild years from now to catalop your spiritual journey for those that follow.

Very challenging and thought provoking. Christian teaching of the highest quality. The author has no thought of making anything of himself, but emphasises the personal devotion to Jesus as being the bedrock of christian life and service.

I have used this devotional for 5 years and find it extremely enlightening year after year. I love the journal aspect of the devotional and have also used it for years.

My Utmost for His Highest is an encouraging, uplifting book.

Here it is again, with space for me to write what I learn, what I think, and what I pray.

Give this as a gift to a new Christian or a long-standing one. It will teach and uplift while providing a strong basis in the Word.

It's not like modern devotionals that have a story with a spiritual lesson. Chambers just preaches at you. Most of the content is good and makes you think. It just lacks our modern presentation. The journal aspect of this edition is very nice.

My daughter asked for this book in a journal form. It is beautiful. The leather/leatherette is soft and smooth. The edge of the pages was gilded and each page had nice lines and the type style was of perfect size for her use. And the price was unbelievable for this quality!

I have used this study for several years. I like the journal format. Im not great at writing long entries, but this gives me room to jot down thoughts that come to me each day.

I love this version. I gave it as gifts to graduating seniors from my youth group, hopefully helping lead them into the word. Chambers offers some classic challenges to our faith and keeps us from staying too comfortable. The imitation leather is very appealing and the book seems to hold up well. The space given is just enough to get a few thoughts down in the morning before you run off to the rest of your day.

I have used and been encouraged by Chambers' "My Utmost for His Highest" for many years. While looking for a copy to give as a gift, I discovered this journal edition which is perfect for recording one's spiritual walk with God as He speaks personally through Chambers' writings and scripture references.
