More About the Author

Laurel A. O'Neil experienced a fullness of life as she progressed from high school through the private sector as a secretary then to a high-profile position in the United States Navy and finally to the joy, and challenges, of marriage and motherhood. Faith sustained her through all stages although she failed to realize the depth of that gift at the time. Laurel is the mother of two grown sons. She lives with her husband on the picturesque Marshyhope Creek in what is historically known as Harrison Ferry outside the small town of Hurlock on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

I've read Laurel O'Neil's book twice and found it an easy to read, fast paced tome that was difficult for me to put down. She wrote from her heart and brought me into her world of spiritual transformation. The emotion she shared with me brought her story to life. I lived her experiences and transformed with her. Her faith is contageous.

I just picked the book up and upon reading the first few pages I discovered that I could not put it down. This is a truly inspiring view of one person's journey though life playing the hand that God gave her. I only wish that there was more of it:)
