I teach 2nd grade and have met Dan Gutman. I have read most of his books and loved them. The Weird School series has been a hit with my class this year. I have read each one orally to them and they beg for more. I pause at certain places in the stories because they know what lines come next. I'm going to begin the Weird School Daze next.

my grandson is an advid reader and likes silly titles and books. he had this book read in one day and asked if he could get more of the series. I told him I'd get them for him. he has a wicked sense of humor and to watch him read and giggle though a story is heartwarming.

very funny book & fast read. All 3 of my girls 11, 9 & 5, laughed & want to get the whole collection.

My grandson, who is 6, just loves all of Dan Gutman's "My Weird School" Series' books. I can't tell you how much fun we have had reading and totally cracking up laughing from the weird stories of the teachers, helpers, principal, coaches, bus drivers and more. These are not to be missed. I live far away, so after Matthew reads them, he saves them for when I go to visit to re-read. He gets so excited when we each read a page and it comes to a funny part. My older granddaughter, who is 8, and the twins, who are 3-1/2, all enjoy listening to the reading as well. The characters are fleshed out so brilliantly and pop up at you with images that will stay with your child forever. Don't miss these books at an affordable price with many hours of enjoyment and lessons to learn. Go for it!
