Dan Gutman has always been a baseball fanatic. He played in Little League as a kid, and one of the first magazine articles he ever sold explained the science behind the spitball, the scuffball, and corked bats. I struck it rich buying these books!!!. My 8 y/o son laughs while reading these books. He has read several books in the series and I will probably buy the complete set. My son hopes Mr. Gutman never stops writing these books.

My daughter enjoys reading this book over and over. I don't like some of the tone in the story or demeaning negativity. I won't be buying any more from the series much to my daughters dismay.
