Another Delightful Angel Book, February 20, 2011
I read Lorna Byrne's "Stairways to Heaven" and felt an incredible longing to read more about the angels on the same lines. This was around Christmas time. So I ordered this book, it fitted my tight budget. I wasn't sure if it would be as inspiring as "Stairways...", but I was longing to remain on the same plane that the above book had inspired in me.
Well, the book arrived and I read it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it matched up to my expectations and more. All right, I wouldn't compare it to "Stairways..", but with "Angels in my Hair" (also by Lorna Byrne), and some of Doreen Virtue's angel books, it stands a fair chance.
There has been a plethora of angel books on the market as the author herself admits. Why then another angel book? The answer is, that every angelic experience is different, and those of us who cannot see or hear the whispers from above, need all the information we can get from those who genuinely do. And, going by this book, it appears definitely that Francesca Brown does, she knows what she is talking about. And, like Lorna Byrne, she makes NO claims of being special or gifted in any way. This is one of the principal strengths of this book.
The author of this book differs from Lorna Byrne, in that her conscious interaction with the angelic domain started relatively late in life. She had been exceedingly ill and bedridden when she was approached by a healing angel. Francesca took this contact to heart, using this guidance to make life changing decisions in her life, in as discreet a manner as was possible. This book is replete with inspirational stories of the same kind as in "Angels in my Hair", stories of remarkable synchronicities, experiences of being "at the right place at the right time", a host of visions of things to come in the near and immediate future and so on. A life lived in consonance with a higher intelligence (in this case, the angels) is always unique, specific to the individual, and magical to the core. Setbacks are perceived only as stepping stones to higher consciousness, as one learns to explore the multifaceted nature of Life. This book is no exception, it is a great book to read if you want to be inspired and energized.
Strongly recommended.

Beautiful story that gave me a new perspective on life, February 19, 2011
First of all, to the person who gave this a one star review, nobody ever said this was supposed to be a Christian book. I'm not at all religious so I had a completely open minded approach which allowed me to really enjoy, appreciate and believe this book. Francesca Brown is a humble person who wasn't really religious or believed in angels until she met one a few years ago while she was really ill with ME and she has been communicating with them ever. Through her story you rediscover her magical experiences and feel like there are angels with you everywhere you go.
