I bought the journal's for children in church and at school to take notes in church or to practice writing. The children loved them, even some adults asked for one. They are made of paper. It would have been better if they were made of a more sturdy material for the cover, otherwise I'd recommend them to any teacher.

Good size for beginning writers -- those past the stage of single letter writing. No dotted lines in between lines, but a good size. It would be nice if the pages were perforated. Good, compact size to transport in backpack to and from school.
