To this day, THE BEST of all the Chaplin books. More than just a scrapbook, Charlie's text is engaging and never superfluous.
Better still, there are MANY rich photographs, spanning Chaplin's entire life, through England in the 1890s all the way up to his final years in the 1970s. The man's time is evoked as completely, and as attractively, as you could wish. Here's hoping for a reissue!
