How do novels like this ever get published?,
This review is from: My name is Sappho (Hardcover)
Cecilia Holland panned this novel, writing that the author "is ignorant of the education needed to reconstruct so remote a time. Her characters are strictly twentieth century." Barbara Grier simply wrote that it "may have the distinction of being the worst book ever written about Sappho."How novels like this see the light of day is a mystery. It earns one star, only because there's no option for no stars. |
