5.0 out of 5 stars A real classic with no holding back., December 4, 2006

This review is from: My war beyond Vietnam: In away with no winners, Roger Helle found something he could never loose (Paperback)
I heard this book read, though edited, on the local Christian radio over 20 years ago. I bought this copy when my 15 year-old son was looking for a Christian biography to hold his interest. Boy did it ever deliver! He read it in two sittings. BUT I wouldn't recommend it for anyone younger because of the graphic violence described in some of the Vietnam scenes. This guy was a trained killer, and the things he say were even worse than what he had to do to survive. It should be reviewed by an adult first to see if it is suitable for a young person. On the whole a moving and fantastic story.
