We all remember the fairytales that were told to us when we were young. Unfortunately, a lot of those stories have some characters that can be a little frightening to our youngest children. Take for instance the Big Bad Wolf....my two year old wouldn't be happy to hear that he eats little girls. With my1story, you get all the fun of the fairytales that you are familiar with, but without the `bad guys'!
Not only are the storybooks a great read for children, they are filled with beautiful illustrations that will bring each book to life. I would definitely recommend these storybooks for any young reader!!

So many stories on todays market are not child-friendly. I love what My1story has done by taking these classics and giving them a twist to make them less frightening for small children. My son is almost 3 and these books are perfect for reading to him before he goes to bed at night! This is always the 1st one he grabs off the shelf!

My girls just loved this book. It was the perfect way to introduce them to the Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale but didn't include the "Fe-fi-fo-fum" grinding your bones to make bread scaryness. Instead they learned about not taking things that don't belong to you and really loved the illustrations. Great book and I'd recommend to anyone with young kids (mine are 3 & 5).
