This review is from: THE MYCENAEAN ORIGIN OF GREEK MYTHOLOGY (Kindle Edition)
This is an older book, something not told in Kindle's generally unhelpful, inconsiderate and often misleading descriptions, dating from the 1920's. There has been a bit of additional discovery and revision of thought since then. This is the same asinine editorial policy that lets Amazon list The Protocols of the Elders of Zion as Judaica. However, the content is worthwhile and provocative; the theses are on point. Anyone interested in the origins of Greek mythology should read this book. Parts are technical, of course, and the writing is sometimes unnecessarily thick, but such things may be skipped if they prove too dull. The book as a whole is a worthwhile read. |
