This review is from: The Mycenaeans (Ancient Peoples and Places) (Paperback)
A book full of gorgeous pictures, maps and diagrams, but very dry and boring to read. You can get this information in much more readable forms elsewhere. Try A.R. Burn or others. The photos are fantastic, but are also available elsewhere. The book is more like a catalog or brochure of ancient artifacts from Mycenaea. In terms of textual content, it dwells for an incredibly long time on Mycenaean pottery. If you need to know the minutae of Mycenaean pottery, then this book is for you.
